1. Foundations and Mechanics - Sat April 4th (11:00 AM)
This class is the first in the series and is designed to help us get started on the mechanics of training as well as some foundational behaviors. We’ll meet at Rossborough Park unless weather dictates otherwise.
We’ll work on the following:
How to check in with your dog
How to use a marker
How to deliver a treat properly

Counterconditioning feared stimuli
Reviewing fluency of sit and down
Target to hand
Things to Bring:
A treat pouch and lots of treats (bring a variety and more than you think you’ll need)
A 6-foot leash or shorter (no flexi-leads)
A front-clipping harness or head halter are recommended for dogs that pull
